Your County Council, your say
The Council is asking residents and stakeholders for their views on a range of potential options for managing an anticipated £98 million shortfall in the revenue budget by April 2017, due to on-going reductions in funding from central Government.
In an effort to explore every option, the County Council is reviewing key areas of spend and service activity with a focus on identifying different ways of delivering services more efficiently and at lower cost, in order to reduce the overall budget spend.
Your views on the options, and the potential impact should any of the options be considered further, are very important as the feedback will be used to inform planning on future proposals. They would also welcome any other comments you may have on how to deliver the savings.
You can take part in the consultation, by completing the Response Form online or in paper form. An Information Pack is also available to support you in considering your response to the consultation.
